We Are Exposed As Evil and Worse, Uncreative
Creative Class guru Richard Florida can't spell to save his life. Or maybe he's just very creative about it.
Reading between the typoes, Florida claims that the Manhattan Institute has replaced the the Public Interest as the hub of a far-flung coalition of anti-modern, racist and homophobic city-haters including Fred Siegel, Joel Kotkin, Steve Malanga and David Brooks. These men, coincidentally I'm sure, are his most frequent critics.
We've invited Florida to an open exchange of ideas, on his blogs or ours, and will let you know if he accepts.
In the meantime, Larry Littlefield weighs in on Labor Scarcity, Business Location and the Creative Class in our latest featured essay, and disagrees with everyone.
